Fire and disaster prevention, the HOCHIKI Group's core business, is one of high social significance, for its goal is to protect people's lives and assets. For more than 100 years since its founding in 1918, the HOCHIKI Group has continued to pursue its mission of helping create communities where people can feel and be safe.
Over this past century, the cityscape and people's lifestyles have changed dramatically. We have consistently taken head on the many challenges that came with this change, in hopes of helping advance society by advancing fire and disaster prevention.
Today, the planet we live on is facing several social issues, such as climate change and social polarization. We at the HOCHIKI Group believe we have a responsibility to work to resolve such issues as well, so as to enable a sustainable society.
The HOCHIKI Group will continue its endeavor to maintain safety and security in people's everyday lives, and to move forward together with society, as it does today and has done in the past. Our ESG Basic Policy was established to help us fulfill this promise.
